Warranty Policy

Every LongRun is built to survive the same conditions your Garmin is built to survive. If yours doesn't, we'll make it right. Here's exactly what's covered, what's not, and how to file a claim.

Limited Warranty Coverage

LongRun is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 1 year from the original date of delivery.

If your LongRun fails due to a covered defect during this period, we will repair it, replace it, or refund the purchase price at our discretion.

What's Covered

  • Failure to hold or output charge under normal use
  • Connector or housing manufacturing defects
  • LED power gauge malfunction
  • Failure to meet the stated IPX7 waterproof rating
  • Battery cell defects that cause the unit to drop below 80% of its rated capacity within the warranty period

What's Not Covered

  • Damage from drops, crushing, impact, or other physical abuse beyond normal wear
  • Damage caused by unauthorized tampering, modification, or attempts to open the unit
  • Damage from use with non-Garmin devices or modified charging ports
  • Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures (above 60°C / 140°F or below -20°C / -4°F)
  • Damage from chemicals, including saltwater submersion beyond IPX7 rating, sunscreen, insect repellent, or industrial cleaning agents
  • Lost or stolen units
  • Cosmetic wear, including scuffs, scratches, fading, or discoloration of the housing or strap clip
  • Issues caused by use of third-party cables or chargers not supplied by LongRun
  • Normal battery degradation outside the rated capacity range
  • Failure of your Garmin watch itself (LongRun is not responsible for damage to or malfunction of your Garmin device)

How to File a Warranty Claim

Email warranty@longrunpro.com with the following:

  1. Your order number (from longrunpro.com or Amazon)
  2. A short description of the issue
  3. A photo or video showing the problem
  4. The Garmin model you're using LongRun with
  5. Your shipping address for any replacement

We respond within 1 business day, Monday through Friday.

If your claim is approved, we'll provide a prepaid return shipping label (US only). Once we receive the defective unit and verify the issue, your replacement ships within 1 business day. Standard delivery from there is 3 to 5 business days.

For minor issues, we may approve a replacement without requiring a return on a case-by-case basis.

Repair, Replacement, or Refund

LongRun reserves the right to choose between repair, replacement with an equivalent unit, or refund of the original purchase price.

  • Replacement units are new or factory-refurbished to equivalent performance and reliability standards.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Repairs are completed at our facility. Turnaround is typically 7 to 14 business days from receipt.

We do not offer cash equivalents, credit, or partial refunds for warranty claims.

Proof of Purchase

Your order in our system is your proof of purchase. Keep your order confirmation email or Amazon order page accessible.

If you cannot provide proof of purchase, we may decline your warranty claim or require additional verification before processing.

Warranty for Amazon Purchases

LongRun units purchased through Amazon are covered by the same warranty terms.

  • For warranty claims, email warranty@longrunpro.com with your Amazon order number.
  • For returns within Amazon's return window, use Amazon's return process directly.
  • LongRun does not cover claims for units purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers or resellers. Only purchases made directly from longrunpro.com or from our official Amazon storefront are covered.

Transferability

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is tied to the original order.

If you received LongRun as a gift, the original purchaser must email us with your shipping address to transfer warranty service to you. Warranty coverage does not transfer with resale of the unit to a third party.

Warranty vs. 30-Day Endurance Guarantee

LongRun is backed by two separate protections. They cover different things.

You're covered by both. Use whichever fits your situation.

Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LongRun's liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the unit. LongRun is not liable for:

  • Damage to your Garmin watch or any other device used with LongRun
  • Loss of data, GPS tracks, heart rate files, or other recorded activity
  • Loss of use, lost time, or any consequential or incidental damages
  • Personal injury or damage to property resulting from misuse, abuse, or use outside the stated specifications
  • Any failure caused by use of the product in conditions beyond its rated specifications (above IPX7, outside the temperature range, with incompatible devices)

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights that vary by state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

When This Warranty Ends

The warranty automatically ends if:

  • The warranty period expires
  • The unit shows evidence of tampering, modification, or unauthorized repair
  • The unit was acquired from an unauthorized seller
  • The original purchaser transfers the unit to a third party without LongRun's written approval

Out-of-Warranty Support

If your LongRun fails outside the warranty period, email us anyway. Asaf reviews every case personally. If the failure is something we should stand behind, we will. If it's a wear-and-tear issue, we'll offer a discount on a replacement unit.
